• BMW HR2 hybrid car:

BMW has an exciting project up its sleeve : BMW Hybrid Car. It’s a hydrogen-powered car that looks like a Hot Wheels model come to life! The BMW HR2 hybrid car is a prototype race car only and we will miss it in the showrooms. BMW is also developing fuel cell cars, using the technology of the Hybrid Cars. BMW promises to launch a dual-mode version of the current 7 Series during the production cycle of the present model, thus introducing the first car of its kind able to run on both hydrogen and gasoline.

- It performs with an output of 285 hp and with a top speed on 185 mph.- Acceleration from zero to 60 mph takes approximately six seconds.- The land speed records involve a list of eight other flying start and standing start categories.- Based on technology used in the BMW 760i vehicle, the HR2 also uses the fully variable VALVETRONIC valve drive.- The car uses a modified 6-liter, 12 cylinder combustion engine for its propulsion.- Engine in BMW emits only water thus making is one of the most environment friendly car in the present times.- BMW hydrogen powered car has higher degree of efficiency due to higher combustion pressure of the hydrogen-air mixture.
The concept has developed at the right time as the gasoline-electric hybrid market will be blooming over the next 5 years or so. This is the kind of vehicle that the environment is in dire need of at present.

• RT20:

Designed by Mathieu Lewis, the Rt20 is to be powered by liquid hydrogen. The hydrogen fuels a twin-turbo V6 engine promising a power-driven ride. The car is no less in safety and comfort features. The conventional spring-based suspension is replaced by electromagnets for better response. The response can be adjusted even more by regulating the current passing through the magnets.

Sony VAIO CR Series Notebook

Sony unveiled the new VAIO CR series of laptop PCs. The new CR series will be available in five colors, sangria, cosmopolitan, dove, indigo and black (matte finish).
The new VAIO will be powered by the Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, 2GB of RAM, integrated INte GMA X3100 graphics. It has a 14.1-inch LCD display with the XBRITE-ECO LCD technology and a resolution of 1280×800.

Officially the fastest car in the world. Ever. In a straight line the Bugatti Veyron simply owns the opposition. Electronically limited to 253mph, the Veyron’s top-end superiority is underlined by simply staggering acceleration. Remember the 243mph McLaren F1? Even given a 100mph head start, the Veyron would still beat one to the double ton. More fun stats include emptying the 100-litre fuel tank in 11 minutes at maximum velocity – a situation engineers have described as a ‘safety feature’. Travel that fast for a whole half hour and even the special high-speed tyres would apparently start to melt.With four turbochargers, the 8.0-litre W16 engine makes a minimum 1000bhp, so it’s no surprise to discover the car contains 17 different cooling devices. Four-wheel drive and sophisticated aerodynamics mean the Veyron isn’t just a hyper-performance dragster, either, cornering incredibly for something weighing 1888kg. The SAGA

Paul Yang wasn’t a designer by profession and he merely fluked it to join hands with the famous Larry Nagel but the amateur status of Paul did not prove to be a hindrance by any means. Indeed, a first time project bike conventionally takes 18 to 24 months for completion and these two managed to produce a moving guzzler mere seven months which talks highly about the efficiency and dedication of this Duo .

Koenigsegg CCX

Poor Koenigsegg. Having spent the entire century so far trying to capture the McLaren F1’s top speed record, the Swedish supercar maker finally achieves it with the 242mph CCR when Bugatti comes along and rearranges the rulebook. That’s got to hurt. Still, what better way to bury the pain than to develop a new version – the CCX. A bespoke 4.7-litre V8 with twin superchargers sits just behind the passenger compartment, developing 806bhp and 678lb ft of torque – enough to propel the car from 0-62mph in 3.2 seconds despite only having rear wheel drive.245mph is achievable if you can find, well, a runway long enough, though the low drag shape that allows this does mean the Koenigsegg can be a handful in the corners. Extra bonus points for having carbon-fibre wheels on the options list and doors that are cooler than a penguin’s feet.

Chrysler Tomahawk

Chrysler Tomahawk for me is the ‘Big Daddy’ of all motorcycles. You ask me a reason and I have one many; for a V10 engine, which makes it capable of producing 500 horses powers it, is the foremost of them all. With a capacity of 8.3 liters and a ten-cylinder engine, it can literally fly at 400 mph. Hats off to Daimler Chrysler for making this bike reach the production floor !

Peraves Monotracer Concept

The Peraves Monotracer combines the features of a sports bike and a sports car and if any of you doubt it, just as a substantiation, it took Peraves some 90 prototypes and 12 million kilometers to be sure that they live up to the rumored repute . When the driver dives into a corner a retractable stabilizer wheel is positioned in less than a half a second, enabling the bike to lean up to 52 degrees more, than most sport bikes in their lifetime.

Gumpert Apollo

Gumpert Apollo 224mph, 0-62mph 3.0 secscYikes. Well, you’re not exactly going to miss this, uh, beauty appearing suddenly in the rear-view mirror. And seriously, move over, because although you’ve probably never heard of it, being fourth on this list means there aren’t many cars capable of outrunning a Gumpert Apollo. 224mph is impressive, but it’s the 0-62mph time that really grabs our attention. Three seconds flat is seriously quick – you’ll be needing a Veyron if you want to go faster. Such high levels of poke hint at an exotic under-bonnet experience, but don’t be too disappointed when we tell you the Apollo is powered by a 4.2-litre Audi V8.

2010 Mercedes E-Class Sedan
